Had heavy rains here in Lubbock, getting a few inches all at onces is how we usually get our annual rainfall...giggity.
But this Bimmer was piloted into the deep waters that had already receded some before this video, then immediately caught fire.

Yeah, and I daily a Firebird...
I’d pass lifted trucks (pavement princesses) and toss a wake like a speedboat on them.
Wintertime, I would be pretty mellow on my driving but still had better traction than most even on sport tires. Some people here are just plain stupid behind the wheel. Case in point, everybody that drives INTO the standing water that already has other stranded cars in it...

thats so tragically funny........poor car is burning up, while sitting IN a large puddle of water......... you would think that someone might have the decency to grab a cup, and at least TRY to put it out..........

Once it flooded so bad in Lubbock that my roommates and I put everything in the house up six inches off the floor, then rafted to the IHOP near campus. When we got back there was 8 inches if water covering the floor. Helluva night. Also, IHOP after rafting through town is best IHOP.
